Abstract

The features of penetration of Russian words into Uzbek oral speech are analyzed in the article. It is concluded that the Russian language, being a means of interethnic communication in Uzbekistan, has a significant impact on the Uzbek language. There is an intense interfering influence of the Russian language on Uzbek, Russian words contribute to the formation and crystallization of new ways of expression in the Uzbek language. The pivotal signs are determined. They establish the boundaries of the functioning of lexical units in two languages. It is also indicated that objects often have a national identity or historical characteristic of a given people  while the signs of these objects distinguished by words do not obey this rule.
