Abstract

The article contains information on taxonomic composition and ecological structure of beetles of the genus Margarinotus (Histeridae) of the fauna of Belarus. On the territory of the Republic 11 beetle species of the genus are registered. The registration of two species — M. punctiventer and M. ruficornis — is assumed. An identification table of the beetles of the genus Margarinotus of the fauna of Belarus is presented, accompanied by drawings and photographs of genitalia and the
main diagnostic characteristics. The annotated list presents biotopical distribution of species and months of imago activity.
