Abstract

The research of Arianta arbustorum activity was conducted in the city park (Baranovichi, Brest obl, Belarus). The presence of active specimens of Arianta arbustorum (L.) was observed in a wide range of temperatures and relative air moisture. The greatest number of active specimens is present at 6—12°C and 100% moisture level. When the air moisture level is less than 30% all specimens of Arianta arbustorum become inactive. It is noted that the type of dependence of the part of active specimens on temperature and relative air moisture changes during Arianta arbustorum activity season. In spring, as well as in autumn, the portion of active Arianta
arbustorum specimens is maximal within air temperature range of 6—12°C, but in spring the share of active specimens is higher than
in autumn, and all specimens stop their activity at a higher than in autumn air temperature — 28°C.
