Abstract

One of industrial centres key problems is technogenic elements emission in the atmosphere that has negative consequences for wood plants growth and development. The fluctuating asymmetry indicator definition of wood plants leaf laminas is one of integrated characteristic methods of the environment quality. This method can be also used for wood plants adaptive mechanisms identification in the period of growth under technogenic conditions. As a result, on the basis of defining the indicator of fluctuating asymmetry and degree and depth assessment of leaf laminas of the drooping birch Betula pendula Roth. adaptive changes the comparative analysis of wood plants conditions growth is carried out.
