Abstract

The article discusses a strategy for ensuring student engagement in learning the content of the lecture in a foreign language. This strategy is designed to increase the efficiency of this form of the educational process in a higher educational institution. The purpose of this research is to study the ways of student engagement in actual learning at the lecture. The paper presents the results of students’ assessment of teaching techniques.
