The interrelationship between speech and motor development of preschool age children

Abstract

In the article the methods of identifying the level of 2—7 year-old children speech andmovements development of are
described. The level of the speech development at age 2—6 isn't connected with the level of general motivation development.
At the age of 2—3 the level of speech development depends on the level of hand movements development. The
phenomenon of the contradiction between the level of speech development and the level of hand movements development
of4—5 year-old children is revealed. The data of the forming experiment show the influence of hand movements
development on speech development of 2—3 year-old children. Handmovements development of 4—5 year-old children
has its own peculiarities and doesn't influence the speech development.
