SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL ACTIVITYOF THE CHILDHOOD PEDAGOGY LABORATORY AS A CENTEROF PROFESSIONAL PRESCHOOL EDUCATION

The article deals with the vocational education aspects, which involves not only academic forms of higher education
but also the creation of practice-oriented associations at the university. The directions of the university laboratory
activity for the development of vocational education are analyzed. The definition and characteristics of the Laboratory
of Childhood Pedagogy according to the target orientation and functional purpose are given. The substantiation of the
scientific and methodological activity of the Laboratory of Childhood Pedagogy in the field of pedagogical design of
childrenʼs games is presented. The content of the new function of the Laboratory of Pedagogy of Childhood is revealed —
activities to provide scientific, methodological and advisory assistance to partner organizations, customer organizations,
teachers, managers and specialists of educational institutions in professional preschool education. A scientific and
methodological activities plan of the Laboratory of Childhood Pedagogy is drawn up and possible ways of sustainable
development are predicted in order to ensure the quality of professional preschool education and the expected results.
