Abstract

The article emphasizes the role of the axiological approach to the formation of the professional competence of pre-school education teacher. The relevance of the axiological competence in the structure of the professional competence of pre-school education teacher is justified; the axiological competence is defined. The content of the
axiological competence is revealed in the characteristics of its components (value-semantic, self-development, social
interaction, organizational and managerial sub-competences). The phases, the pedagogical conditions of the formation
of the axiological competence of pre-school education teacher, the criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of the structural-functional model are represented. The process of forming the axiological competence in the course of “Axiological foundations of the profession of pre-school education teacher” is discussed in the paper.
