Abstract

The article substantiates the essence and structure of the concept of “subject-integrative methodological competence of a biology and chemistry teacher”, which is considered as an integrative personal quality of a teacher,
characterizing the degree of mastery of subject-methodical competencies in biology and chemistry, formed on an integrative basis, for the purpose of practical use in all types of future professional activity. The content of subjectintegrative methodological competence of a biology and chemistry teacher main components is revealed: general methodological (formed when studying general issues of teaching biology and chemistry), particular methodological (formed when considering particular issues of these subject methods) and personal (developed in the process of
preparing a future teacher).
