The article is devoted to the problem of professional training of future teachers of foreign languages in the context of the integrative interdisciplinary approach to the acquisition of the linguistic and cultural specificity of the English-speaking countries at two stages of higher education in the Republic of Belarus. The main idea of the approach is a systematic and gradual acquisition of the socio-cultural competences necessary for successful intercultural dialogue at the levels of interpersonal and professional interaction of teachers.
