Abstract

This article describes the characteristics of such concepts as psychological diagnostics and psychological education. These concepts are considered as stages of psychological prevention, since a preventive work plan cannot be built without determining the causes and conditions of delinquent behavior, which are examined in the process of psychological diagnosis. At the same time, the educational work of a psychologist can be carried out in order to conduct a preventive conversation to form a positive attitude towards work, study, social norms and values. This paper provides possible options and features of conducting psychological diagnostics and education in special educational institutions. The results of a study of psychological and pedagogical factors in the formation of delinquent behavior of adolescents in special educational institutions are revealed. Attention is focused on the relevance of the problem of negative living conditions, upbringing, as well as the personal characteristics of a teenager. The reasons that determine delinquent behavior and contribute to its aggravation are identified.
