Abstract

Fundamental studies to determine the factors of the force effect of the cow’s udder on the nipple with the milking cup nipple rubber at the “compression” stroke have been carried out. It has been established that the normal
compression force of the cow udder nipple during the “compression” stroke is formed from the force of its compression
of the nipple rubber and compression under vacuum in the suction chamber of the milking cup and atmospheric pressure in the inter-wall chamber. The force of the normal compression force of the cow’s udder nipple during the “compression” stroke depends on the nipple diameter and the nipple rubber inner surface. The solution to the problem
of adequate impact on cow’s udder nipple is possible in the redistribution of pressure on the body of the nipple when its shape and size change.
