Abstract

The brief theoretical overviews of themillingwood-cutting tools used in thewoodworking enterprises of the Republic of Belarus are under study in this article. They help to find the main disadvantages of the modern constructions milling tools. As a result, the new construction of
the energy efficient milling tool with variable angles front and slope of the edge for processing wood materials is put forward.

The construction of the milling tool on offer has some advantages over the existing milling tools. The main advantage of it is the
versatility in the production of various profiles and energy efficiency. The laboratory research has proved the advantages of the
developed tool.
