Abstract

The object of the research is a statically indeterminated mechanical system which consists of one rigid body on
a rigid support and a set of elastic links. The goal of the study is the improvement of the methodology of determination
of the internal forces in the links. The standard method of solving the problem leads to the solution of the system of
algebraic equations. To simplify the task we have formulated and proved the theorem that expresses the ratio of impacts
and stiffness. It made possible to construct an algorithm of power analysis without making and solving the system of
equations. There is a numerical example of the analysis. The obtained results can be used both in the educational process
and engineering calculations.
