Abstract

When using the aerodynamic sound hardening method of increasing durability increase of an axial milling tool made of high-speed steel R6M5 when processing steel 45, an increase in 1.5…2.1 times was revealed, depending on the processing modes and the maximum allowable wear on the rear surface.
