Abstract

The article made a historical-philosophical reconstruction and analysis of religious

Simeon Frank on ratios such forms of human spiritual activity as philosophy and religion. Based
on the analysis of sources, especially the works of the philosopher: "Philosophy and Religion"
(1923), "The Meaning of Life" (1925) and literature, the authors concluded that S. L. Frank, as
a representative of Christian theism on the one hand and philosophical intuitionism - on the
other hand, held the position of maximum autonomy of philosophy and religion, pointing out
at the same time, on the difficulty of drawing a clear demarcation between them.
