Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the state of innovative development of the industry of the regions of the Republic
of Belarus for 2011—2018 using the methods of structural, factor analysis.

The assessment tools has been developed for the level of innovative development of the region using author’s
methodology based on the shared (specific) and dynamic indicators. The paper presents the mathematical tools for using
each indicator, presents an algorithm for calculating, compiling maps of the innovative development of the region. Based
on the use of statistical data for the regions of the country, calculations have been made and cause and effect relationships
of the dynamics in innovative development have been analyzed.
