Abstract

The paper considers a number of causal relationships that determine the transition and change of economic
paradigms. In particular, a complex of 4 theoretical approaches is presented: the information paradigm (knowledge
economy); impression economy; happiness economy; institutional matrix theory. A detailed literature review is
presented for each concept, principles and criteria for differentiating economic paradigms are defined. The existing
problematic aspects in the implementation of the modern economic paradigm are highlighted, directions for their
solution are proposed.
