Abstract

In the present article the author analyzes the main provisions of the Russian pharmaceutical industry, the causal
relationships of the results of processes that occurred in the post-Soviet period, as well as the main direction of development, which, in author’s opinion, could bring the industry to the number of global pharmaceutical industry leaders.
