THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TOTHE IDENTIFICATION OF THE NATURE AND CHARACTERISTICSOF ECONOMIC RISKS

Abstract

The objective existence of risk and its impact on the activities of economic entities becomes urgent theoretical
and practical significance in the modern financial and economic business conditions. On the basis of the research of
different authors’ view and identifying features of manifestations of risk in production and business activities the author
clarifies the economic content of the concept of "economic risk", the place and role of economic risk in the general set
of economic risks is defined, the motivational feature of the risk, which determines the presence of any of the risk features is also identified.
