Abstract

To date, one of the main tasks of the agribusiness sector development is to ensure the country's food security.
Without the provision of agriculture with modern material and technical resources, the development of the industry is
impossible. In this regard, there is an urgent need to re-equip the fixed assets of agricultural enterprises at an accelerated
pace and use leasing as an effective financial tool for updating the material and technical base.

The article analyzes the leasing activities for 2010-2016 in the Russian Federation, examines the mechanisms of
state support in this direction, draws conclusions and proposals on improving the development of agro-leasing.
