PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES AS INTEGRAL QUALITIES OF A SPECIALIST'S PERSONALITY

Abstract

The topic of professional competencies as integral qualities of a specialist's personality is relevant today. Modern society makes great demands on the issue of professional competence of a specialist. Therefore, the educational process, in terms of training qualified specialists, is faced with the task of forming the personality of a person who satisfies the necessary qualities in a certain field of activity, capable of solving a number of tasks at a high professional level while performing his work.

In the article, relying on the positions of such researchers as Z. N. Safina, E. F. Zeer, V. Kolobov, A. G. Kasparzhak, V. D. Shadrikov, E.D. Dneprov research topics: "specialist", "professionalism", "competence" from the point of view of various positions, as well as the main directions of education in the Republic of Belarus. Based on the analysis of the concept of "competence", the main components were revealed, which are the basis of the competence of a young specialist and affect the level of his professional competence.
