Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the development of emotional intelligence in young boys and girls studying for a pedagogical profile. The author reveals the essence of the concept of emotional intelligence, analyzes the work of foreign and domestic scientists; the results of the quantitative and statistical analysis of differences between the components of emotional intelligence in the respondents of adolescence, and based on the described results the recommendations for increasing the level of emotional intelligence are given.
