Abstract

The article examines the concepts of religiosity of a person, tolerance and their relationship. The authors, relying on theoretical and empirical studies of Russian-speaking (K. I. Loktev, A. Yu. Grigorenko, E. A. Stepanova and oth.) and foreign (W. James, G. W. Allport, M. J. Ross and oth.) scientists-humanities, make an attempt to determine the features of the religiosity of the individual and the features of tolerance in interpersonal relationships. The article concludes that despite the fact that religious (interfaith) tolerance / religious tolerance is a kind of tolerance as such, however, it has significant features.
