Abstract

The article presents the results of a theoretical and empirical study of the types of family education in child-centric families.
The system of relations, patterns of child-parent interaction in child-centric families are analyzed. The concept of intensive parenting
based on the idea of child-centrism is revealed. Detailed results of an empirical study of family interaction patterns in child-centric
families are proposed, obtained by comparing with family interaction patterns in traditional families with a parentʼs leadership position
in the family hierarchy, revealed in the study of complete families with few children and one-child families; incomplete small
and one-child families. It has been proved that the main marker of detocentrism in the family is the presence of indulgent hyper protection.
Indulgent hyper protection was revealed in a complete child-centric family: in a one-child family — in the father in relation
to the girl, in a small family — in the mother in relation to the youngest boy.
