Abstract

In the article the poems and the ballad “Mishanka” byYan Chechot as well as his journalistic performances for the
purpoce of the aesthetic ideal demonstration are analyzed. The study of the term “the aesthetic ideal” makes it possible to
single out the ways of the task realization. The peculiarities of Y. Chechot’s personality are revealed in the folklore facet.
The article focuses on theChristian values which create the understanding and the concept of the beautiful life impersonated
in Y. Chechot’s poetry.
