Abstract

The article gives a definition of the term“themark of the era” fromthe interdisciplinary (history, philosophy, aesthetics) standpoint , reveals the mechanism of the meaning transfer in literary texts . The problem of the adequacy of the story
genre in accordance with the changing, moving reality and the transitional goals and their artistic reflection is analyzed.
The objective difficulties in the implementation of the novel purpose are comprehended. The “insignia” story as a formof
artistic representation of the “philosophy of the case” , the correlation of the story and history are under study.
