Abstract

The article describes the personality profiles of children from child-centered families. The personality profiles
are considered in the context of the child’s personality resources, which the child acquires, being a part of the childcentered
family system of different types: incomplete one-child and small families, complete one-child and small
families. Child personality profiles are also considered from the perspective of the risks of a child’s development in
a child-centered family. The methodological basis of the study was the resource approach and factor analysis of personality.
By comparing empirical data on the sex and birth order of children, as well as the type of child-centric family,
the differences in the profiles of the child’s personality were determined for the implementation of preventive actions
with professional psychological support for a modern family. It has been proven that the order of a child birth is not
a factor that determines the specifics of the child’s personality profile. The sex of the child determines to a small extent
his personality profile. The personality profile specificity is determined to a greater extent by the composition of the
child-centered family.
