Abstract

In the article there have been presented the results of research on the features of manifesting some personal determinants
of professional deformations (reflexivity, rigid thinking) by the representatives of socionomic professions, as well as the
link between the phenomenon under study and the indicators of emotional burnout syndrome. In the research the
respondents with different work experience had differences in the manifestations of professional deformations. It was
concluded that the tendency to deform a personality tends to peak out after 10 years of work record. Some general
recommendations aimed at the prevention of professional deformations are recognition and understanding of the
professional development shifts, mastering the mental flexibility and creative potential.
