Abstract

The organization of independent work of students is an essential factor in the process of acquiring of knowledge at
the higher school of the Russian Federation. The article is devoted to the basic principles, conditions and performance of
students’ independent work. It also gives the analysis of the forms and methodological support of independent work in the
course of methodological and mathematical preparation of future teachers of mathematics.
