Abstract

In this article we analyze generic and stylistic novel aspects on the translation of works “Szezhki-darozki”,
“Krivichy”, “Vyazmo” by Mihas Zaretzkiy. Literary points of view upon these novels have changed several times. We
analyze the figure of the main character who is the symbol of moral and ethical problems of his time, show
philosophical writer system, based on traditional and humanistic values. The author style is prominent for romantic
spirit, imagery, emotionality and a deep psychology. Creative achievements of Mihas Zaretzkiy were showed through
an epic legacy, a difficult conflict and an author lyricism. Such works as “Szezhki-darozki” and “Vyazmo” had a great
influence on the form process of this genre in Belarussian literature.
