REFLECTING OF PURE ART’S PRINCIPLES IN ARTICLES OF L. LUNZ

Abstract

The article deals with the views of literary critics, politicians on the question of ownership “Serapion
Brothers” to the followers of pure art. Thought about the impact of “art for art” on L. Lunz — one of the main
theoreticians of the commonwealth “Serapions” — is asserted in the article. The author touches upon the subject of
their relationship to the well-known article “Why do we are Serapion Brothers?” of L. Lunz. The provisions of pure
art's theory which are reflected in his literary criticism are considered. The article discusses the features of the interpretation of pure art theory in articles by L. Lunz.
