Abstract

According to the author’s suggestion, since the emergence of higher education, the consulting function is used
for service provision of its processes, which is present in the latent state as part of the leading functions of the
educational institution. Using the content analysis, the author justifies this assumption from the positions of the
systemic and structural approach. The results of the analysis of scientific literature and questionnaires state the list of
implemented by the University processes that need the consulting support. The implementation of the University’s
consulting function is offered in the form of consulting as a pedagogical technology that contributes to the innovative
development of the University.
