Abstract

The article presents the results of monitoring of the state of modern lexicography and the possibilities of using
linguistic and literary encyclopedia, as well as school dictionaries of winged expressions and aphorisms in the modern
educational process. Lexicography, which is the quintessence of achievements of lexicology, phraseology and other
branches of linguistics, should become an integral part of teaching of humanitarian disciplines in the modern school.
