Abstract

On the basis of the literature analysis, the significance of the narrative role-plays in the formation of the
personality of preschool children and the relevance of pedagogical support of the game — as an effective strategy to
guide it — are determined. The methodological approaches to the construction of the structural and functional model
of the pedagogical support of the narrative role-plays of preschool children are outlined. The detailed structure of the
model is presented, and its elements (blocks) are characterized: target, methodological (includes approaches and
principles of the game), organizational-procedural (considers factors, conditions, stages of the organization of the
game, content based interaction of the subjects in the game), forms and methods of interaction of the subjects in the
game, and the technology of its organization. The evaluation-outcome block includes criteria and levels of children’s
playing skills development.
