Abstract

The article presents a theoretical review of the problem of paternal attitude towards a child with developmental disabilities. The perspectives of studying the parental (father’s) attitude towards a child with autism are shown. The present study aims to establish the relationship between parental (paternal) attitude and the development of communication skills of autistic children. The results of the study can be used both to optimize parent-child relationships in families with an autistic child, and to develop communication skills of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
