Abstract

Due to the visual “boom” that the society is experiencing, the use of various visualization tools in the university is becoming more and more popular. The use of techniques, e.g., inforgraphics, that help to represent objects in a form that is convenient for visual perception and to stimulate students’ mental activities is of great methodological value. To achieve the maximum developmental effect when creating infographics, it is necessary to follow the rules of similarity, proximity, simplicity and completeness, which are based on the peculiarities of information perception by brain. The use of infographics as a technique in foreign language workshops contributes to the solution of a number of specific methodological problems and the achievement of significant metasubject educational results at the level of learning and cognitive activity.
