The article presents the results of the development of professional competencies of pre-service teachers of domestic chores through consulting support of their educational research. The relevance of the use of consulting is justified by the presentation of the set of objectives which were identified by means of a survey; their solution requires consulting support. The article contains a description of the forms, technologies, techniques and methods of consulting support for pre-service teacher training, and an analysis of the obtained results.
