Abstract

The article substantiates the relevance of the use of innovative Internet technologies in medical schools. The use of an educational blog, mental maps and the application LearningApps is shown in training of pre-service junior medical specialists when they study the discipline of “Psychiatry and Addiction”. The results of a survey of would-be doctors are described; they prove the effectiveness of the use of blogs, mental maps and online exercises by means of LearningApps in studying of clinical disciplines. It was noted that the use of these innovative Internet technologies in the educational process will improve the quality of professional training of future doctors. It was concluded that the introduction of innovative Internet technologies is one of progressive ways to modernize medical education. It was emphasized that the proper organization of virtual joint activities of teachers and students in the process of training in medical schools can lead to the efficient solution of basic pedagogical tasks and contribute to the students’ personal growth.
