Abstract

The article considers the expediency of using constructive means of information technologies by teachers to create conditions for the development of students’ empathy in the educational process. The importance of the role of empathy development in the harmonious formation of the subject in the realities of modern society, the acquisition by students of the skills of culture of the use of modern information technologies in educational activities and other areas of personal activity is theoretically justified. The article describes psychodiagnostic tools that can be used to study students' empathy and the role of information technologies in its development. The results of an empirical study of empathy in teenage and early adolescent students using and not using information technologies are presented. The article argues the effectiveness of using constructive means of information technologies in teaching activities with students who have different levels of empathy.
