Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of the work of the Belarusian children’s writer Maina Maksimovna Boboriko. Due to the lack of serious research on the creative path and individual works of the author, this problem seems to be relevant and promising. Children’s literature is actively developing, since its influence on the development of the child's personality is undeniable. The stories and fairy tales written by M. Boboriko in different years were chosen for the study, which made it possible to single out two periods in the authorʼs work, each of them is characterized by certain features. In the stories relating to the early period, the writer, revealing the character of one or another hero, affirms the priority of such personal qualities as kindness, honesty, justice, mutual assistance, respect. The creative evolution of the writer is connected with the fairy tale genre, where the dominant idea is the triumph of good over evil.
