Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of improving lexical skills. The paper focuses on the highlighting stages of lexical skills improvement, and the classification of exercises. The authors analyze modern digital technologies (Twee, Yippity, Kandinsky, LearningApps, Wordwall) and their role in optimizing the process of mastering lexical skills. Particular attention is paid to the development and approbation of the set of exercises classified according to cognitive skills based on the interval repetition method. The results of approbation of the developed set of exercises in a general secondary education institution are presented.
