The article actualizes the problem of participation of the entire contingent of students aged 6-7 years in a sports quest game, since the performance of its competitive gaming tasks requires taking into account age-related developmental characteristics, medical indications and contraindications for joint and divided actions that determine the achievement of a common result. The prerequisites for the use of a sports quest game with students aged 6-7 years in optional classes on the academic subject "Physical Culture" are revealed, which determine the actualization of knowledge in the development of educational material and increase adaptation to school education. The scientifically-based features of the developed methodology are described, expressed in role differentiation when performing competitive game tasks; determining load indicators; using maps in competitive conditions as a polymodal method; the use of QR codes for self-verification, which causes an increase in motivation; determining criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training influences.
