Abstract

In the Republic of Belarus legal entities which are non-profit organizations can be created in the form of religious organizations.
Legal entities may own any property except for certain types of property which according to the law can not be owned by legal entities.
Property acquired by religious organizations is in their ownership and may be used only for the purposes stipulated by their constituent documents. Religious organizations’ property is subjected to the same requirements as other subjects of civil law; it is also subjected
to some additional requirements related to the specifics of mentioned organizations.

The article analyses basis for property right occurrence on relics for religious organizations.
