Abstract

Nowadays there are considerable pressing problems in the use of energy sources in Vietnam. They need to be solved for the
purpose of economy orientation to the “green” development providing the economic growth, social stability and environment protection.
The country economic and social situation for the last 15 years is analyzed and the forecast of economic growth for the period till 2030
is given. Production and need for energy at present and in the future taking into account the existing energy resources in Vietnam is
estimated. On the basis of the carried-out analysis the problems interfering development of renewable energy resources in Vietnam are
considered and the solution for energy problems of the country is offered.
