Abstract

Formation of socially-oriented market economy model based on innovative development involves effective use of competitive advantages, which, first and foremost, is labor potential of the national economy. Efficient use of labor potential is impossible without its analysis that determines the conditions of its reserve formation and increase. The article assesses the demographic component of labor potential in Belarus, considers the ways how to increase labor
resources. It is suggested to employ people with disabilities as additional source of work force.
