Abstract

At present, prosecutors of the Republic of Belarus have been set new tasks, including the prevention of violations in the
economic sphere. Prosecutors do considerable work to fulfill the above tasks, but the criteria for assessing the effectiveness of this work
have not been worked out. The author offers additional criteria for evaluating the efficiency of prosecution authorities’ activities in the
sphere of supervision over the implementation of legislation and the legality of legal acts.
