Abstract

Nowadays the Belarusian tourism industry reflects the acceleration of the development of socio-economic processes which take
place at the regional level. Various types of recreation based on the natural component are becoming increasingly popular among tourists. Agroecotourism is a type of entrepreneurial activity in Belarus, which can have a significant impact on the country’s sustainable regional development. This type of tourism is relatively new in our country, however it has already occupied a certain place in the volume of tourist services. The active agroecotourism development in the country is the basis for singling out some destinations which are characterized by a homogeneous set of tourist services. The Republic of Belarus has all necessary resources for the further agroecotourism development, but they require systematization and a reasonable and well developed strategy.

The object of research is the recently appeared tourist cluster “The Green Ring of Baranovichi”. The goal of the study is to identify and systematize the factors of formation and sustainable development of the tourist cluster depending on the directions of the region’s tourist potential development.

The article deals with theoretical aspects of the cluster approach to the sustainable development of tourist destinations. The analysis of the external and internal environment of the functioning of the tourist cluster “The Green Ring of Baranovichi” was conducted
and the main directions for improving its work were developed. The area of possible practical application is the tourist cluster “Green Baranovichi Ring” and other similar entities.
