Abstract

In the paper the attention is paid to the role of nanotechnologies in the modern society. Increasing efficiency of organizations
depends on innovations, first of all on nanotechnologies. Such a specialization of organizations is characterized by the concept of ‘nanoindustry’. The author differentiates the approaches to the definition of ‘nanoindustry’ on the basis of the analysis of domestic and foreign sources. The current programs of nanoindustry development in the world are presented and characterized. The statistical data in the field of nanotechnologies development in a number of countries — in particular, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus —
are presented. The author analyzes the state of the nanoproduct market, the dynamics of its development and the dynamics of investment resources. Based on the analysis of the rates of GDP change in 2005—2015 and the share of nanoproducts in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, a moderate dependence between these indicators was revealed.
