Abstract

The article describes the main aspects of the relationship between the Polish People’s Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany in the second half of the 1980’s. The author presents the attempts of Polish diplomacy to establish relationships between the states. Also, the areas of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of economy and social relations are reviewed. Particular attention is paid to signing diplomatic documents between the two countries and visits of heads of state.
